Laser Cutting Head
The PeddiLS features a QLTEK Professional Tube Laser torch assembly designed for high-speed tube cutting and beveling. A built-in LED status bar provides instant visual feedback, while automatic centering ensures consistent alignment on every part. With up to 45° bevel capability, the torch supports advanced weld prep and complex part geometries while maintaining fast cutting speeds.
Laser Source
Powered by a Raycus 6kW fiber laser, the PeddiLS delivers stable beam quality, high power density and efficient energy distribution. The fiber delivery system ensures consistent cutting performance, low operating costs and long service life across a wide range of tube sizes and wall thicknesses.
Triple Chuck System
The automated triple chuck design provides rack-and-pinion self-centering for secure material handling and precise positioning. Semi-automatic loading and infeed streamline production, while finished parts are safely unloaded with minimal remnant material, improving material utilization and reducing scrap.
Gantry and Motion System
A servo-driven motion system delivers smooth acceleration, high positional accuracy and reliable repeatability. The rigid mechanical structure minimizes vibration during high-speed cutting and rotation, supporting maximum positional speeds up to 328 ft/min and rotational speeds up to 100 RPM.
Processing Capacity
The PeddiLS supports tube and profile cutting up to 10 inches in diameter, with a maximum material thickness of 1 inch (mild steel at 6kW). Precision motion control enables tight tolerances with positional accuracy of ±0.0006", even during complex multi-axis cuts.
Dust Filtration and Collection
An integrated dust filtration system safely removes steel dust and debris generated during cutting. Replaceable filter canisters support easy maintenance, while modular drawers capture heavier material and help operators locate small finished parts quickly, keeping the workspace clean and efficient.
Control System
The PeddiLS is operated through an intuitive Lantek Flex3D Tubes control interface paired with Smart Manager software. Operators can monitor machine status, load and select cutting programs and modify part programs instantly, reducing setup time and simplifying daily operation.
